After Badlands, we stopped by Mt Rushmore for a quick $10 selfie and then on our way to Wind Cave. Not really worth it to us… especially since someone ran into us and ruined Mike’s bike rack.  Either way, we got to Wind Cave early afternoon, and drove to the visitor center. Wow. I truly felt like a little kid walking though the caves here, full of wonder and imagination. Do you remember looking at clouds and seeing different animals and creatures in them? Mammoth Cave National Park

We arrived to Mammoth Cave after checking out two more wonderful distilleries; Willitt and Makers Mark. Both beautiful and delicious. Shoutout to my friend Clare for the perfect recommendations – woman, you know your bourbon trail. If I had to sum up this park with one word: underrated!
