Indiana Dunes National Park

Indiana Dunes National Park

Oh, Indiana Dunes! One of the newest National Parks, but has been a long time National Lakeshore. I had many camping trips here as a child with my family, and I have such fond memories. Fun fact, when I was young, I had forgotten the name of the park and called it Indiana Jones park and my family had a field day with that.  My cousin Lauren and I chased the waves and shrieked with joy when they would “get”…

Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park

After Alaska, we zoomed 45 or so hours back to Bellingham, Washington, where my friends Beth and Lauren live. Lake Clark National Park

Lake Clark National Park

It…

Summer If you have never been to Acadia, and want the…

Oahu – Part 1

Oahu – Part 1

March 4-8, 2018 Mike and I arrived pretty late so I don’t remember much of arrival – but we got picked up by Mike’s best friend, Geoff and his wife, Robin. They live about 30 minutes away from the airport, so we are extremely lucky to have such good friends that we can take advantage of stay with while we’re here! The next morning, we woke up to the sun shining (suck it, Midwest!) and decide to move our travel…
